Imphal, April 15: The proscribed PREPAK has offered revolutionary salute to Oinam Amu alias PK (32) s/o late Sanajaoba of Keirenphabi Maning Leikai killed in a shoot-out with troops of Gorkha Rifles at around 10.30 am of April 7 at Keirenphabi Patton.

In a statement issued by the Secretary in-charge of the outfit's Department of Publicity and Propaganda, PREPAK shared the pain and grief being endured by the bereaved family and friends.

On the other hand, the outfit has denied any relation whatsoever with M Khelendro alias Amujao (28) s/o Radhamohon of Kakching Pareng Turel Wangma, Thounaojam Manaobi alias MM (29) s/o Th Ibochou of Utlou Awang Leikai, Y Sanjay (25) s/o Amubi of Lamboikhong-nangkhong Thanjam Leikai and Moirangthem Basanta (23) s/o Nobin of Iroishemba Mamang Leikai.

Khelendro and Manaobi were handed over to Kakching Police as PREPAK cadres on April 9 after they were picked up by 21 Assam Rifles.

On the other hand, Sanjay and Basanta were apprehended by personnel of 32 AR on April 11.
