Imphal, November 12: The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Human Resource Development comprising of 10 Rajya Sabha MPs held extensive discussion with high ranking State Government officials at State Guest House today.

Prior to the State Guest house engagement the delegate inquired existing infrastructures of Sports Authority of India complex at Takyel.

The State Guest House meeting presided by the Committee Chairman AK Sahaneer was attended by the state's Chief Secretary Jarnail Singh besides Commissioners and Secretaries of Youth Affairs & Sports, Education and Family Welfare departments.

Even though the source declined detailed information on proceedings of the said session it could been culled that issues pertaining to implementation of Central sponsored Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan scheme and issues related to SAI.
