Students advised to register for JEE Mains

Imphal, January 17 2025:
Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB)-2025 has encouraged students from Manipur and other North Eastern states to register for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2025.Registration for Session 2 of the exam will commence from January 31 and close on February 24, 2025.This initiative aims to boost participation from the North-Eastern region and provide aspiring engineers access to premier technical institutions across the country.
CSAB has tailored opportunities for students from North Eastern states and Union Territories through dedicated counselling rounds.
The CSAB-NEUT round focuses on allocating seats in AICTE-approved institutions under the scheme of Reservation of Seats in Degree Level Technical Courses for regions lacking such facilities.
Additionally, the CSAB Special Round provides candidates who did not secure a seat in the initial JoSAA/CSAB counselling rounds an additional opportunity to gain admission to NIT+ institutions.
Highlighting the benefits of the exam, HIT Manipur director Professor Krishnan Baskar stated that JEE Mains opens doors to institutions that prioritise academic excellence, research, and industry-relevant learning.
He described HIT Manipur as a premier destination offering opportunities for innovation, holistic development, and entrepreneurship.
By increasing participation from North Eastern states, CSAB-2025 seeks to empower young talent and enable them to achieve their academic and career aspirations through admission to India's top engineering colleges, including NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs .
