Imphal, January 06 2010: All Manipur Share Holders Imphal Urban Co-Operative Bank Ltd Welfare Association submitted a representation to the Co-operation Commissioner urging him to give immediate directive to defer the recruitment processes in the bank till the completion of elections of Board of Directors.

The representation alleged that brushing aside the complaints/objections raised by the association in this regard, the General Manager brought out a notification for the resumption of recruitment processes on January 4 .

Maintaining that such step is against the interest of the share holders the representation asserted that the initiation violates Model Code of Conduct.

The association further said that the share holders would be compelled to go to law court if the notification is not revoked.
