Imphal, November 14 2008: THE NEW curriculum, syllabus and text books for Standard-X for session 2009-10 published by the Board of Secondary Education Manipur is not suited with the time, observed a joint statement of the DESAM and AMSU today.

The text books which could be get in a low cost included nothing related with the human resource development which would bring up the students to an advance state suited the present trend of development, the statement said while exploring the reason behind the low quality production owing the mistakes that has been existing in the board for a long time.

While exploring that the board has no experts and qualified officers for quality production, the two students bodies observed the need of putting well qualified expert in the board.

It said board did not take any comments from expert and qualified in the concern subjects at the time making the syllabus.
