Imphal, February 01 2010: The 8th Foundation Day of Kangliepak Loinasillon Apunba Marup (KLAM) will be celebrated on February 9 at Manipur Dramatic Union with a state level Kavi Sammelan.

Noted theatre director, Naorem Kalimohan will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest while Keithellakpam Sanahongba, President, KLAM presiding.

The Kavi Sammelan which will be held as part of the celebration will be chaired by Kabiraj Moirangthem, said a press release.

KLAM requested poets of the land to come and recite and recite their poems on this occasion.

The release further informed that on the occasion of the 8th foundation day of KLAM, media persons will be honoured with a simple gift.

Also, all those who have been working hard to nurture and popularize Meitei Mayak and those poets who will present their poems on this day will be honoured with a citation.
