Despite the assurances given by Ministers, MLAs and officials to look into the infrastructural requirements of the Hospital during their frequent visits, doctors working in the JN Hospital at Porompat have been encountering various inconveniences in carrying out their duties.
Even today, although a woman had given birth to her child and she had normal delivery, as there was no electricity in the Gynae Ward of the hospital, patients contributed whatever candles they have in their possessions to help the doctors in performing their duties throughout the entire process of delivery of the child.
Talking to mediapersons, one person who was in the ward taking care of a patient, said the doctors in the wards have been discharging their duties diligently.
But as there is no electricity and water, the patients as well as the doctors are finding lots of difficulties.
