Imphal, August 31: Union Railways Minister Laloo Prasad Yadav has assured the State unit RJD that no efforts would be spared to extend a rail head to Manipur in good time.

Informing this, State unit general secretary of the RJD N Ibohal Meitei today said that the assurance was given during the two day National Executive and National Council meeting of the RJD held at Patna on August 28 and 29.A team of the State RJD including its president W Nipamacha, N Ibohal, SL Paokhosei Member National Council and K Kumarjit Member National Council attended the two day convention.

On the first day, National general secretary of the party, Prof Ram Deo gave an open call to Laloo to speed up the process of laying the rail head in Manipur, said Ibohal and added that the Railways Minister himself gave the assurance during a meeting with the State team on August 29 morning.
