IEI observes World Habitat Day

Imphal, October 08 2025: Institution of Engineers (India), Manipur State Centre observed World Habitat Day 2025 at its Seminar Hall on Tuesday.

The event held under the theme "Urban Solutions to Crisis" was graced by IEI Manipur State Centre chairman L Swamikanta Singh, chairman-elect Soibam Tampha Singh and honorary secretary Dr Th Subhaschandra Singh as presidium members.

As per a release issued by IEI Manipur State Centre, the event began with a welcome address by Dr H Bharat Meitei, joint honorary secretary, followed by speeches from Soibam Tampha Singh and L Swamikanta Singh, highlighting the need for sustainable and resilient urban planning to tackle global crises.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Dr Th Subhaschandra Singh.
