Housewife among four family members burnt dies

Imphal, April 25 2009: A 35 year-old housewife, who was battling for life for the past two days after being severely hurt in a fire burnt accident leaving all the four family members with burnt injuries, died in a hospital today.

The housewife named Ngairangbam ningol Phijam ongbi Dhaneshwori (35) wife Rameshwor slipped into coma after she suffered serious burnt while trying to put off a fire that broke out inside the house on April 23 night, her husband and parent of her husband were also suffered burnt.

All of them have been hospitalized at Shija Hospital.

She succumbed to burn injury this morning at around 10.15 am.

After post mortem at RIMS hospital, the dead body has been taken for last rites.

On the other hand, feeling suspect to the dead of Dhaneshwori in the fire burnt accident, villagers of Lamlai Napet Pali, her parental home came up to the house of Phijam Chaoba (father in-law of Dhaneshwori at Khabam Makha Leikai Phijam Leirak with tension.

But it was settled after having talk with the family of the deceased assisted by the locals of the Khabam.
