Imphal, February 10 2026:
In view of the volatile situation in Litan, the Minorities Students' Association (MSA) has raised a call for peace talks between the Naga and Kuki communities.
In a press release, MSA urged the leaders of the two communities in Litan to come together for a dialogue and settle their differences.
MSA also cited the plight of students preparing for the upcoming BOSEM and COHSEM examinations, who now have their homes destroyed or damaged and exposed to an atmosphere of fear in the midst of gun fire in the flare-up of violence at Litan.
Condemning the events which have caused apprehension to young students, MSA has called for peace talks between the two communities at the earliest.
