PSDC Thoubal celebrates 16th foundation day

Thoubal, October 08 2025: Marking sixteen years since its establishment, the Private Schools' Development Council (PDSC), a collective body representing private schools in Thoubal district, celebrated its 16th foundation day at Fancier Higher Secondary School, Thoubal Okram Wangmataba today.

Held under the banner of "Education For Empowerment And Innovations", the event was graced by Deputy Commissioner Thoubal Hannah Kahmei (IAS) as the chief guest; Salam Jotin Singh, president, PSDC Thoubal as the functional president and Yengkhom Achouba, Zonal Education Officer Thoubal; Inspector Sapam Ibomcha, Officer in-charge, Thoubal police station; Khumukcham Okendro, Regional Manager, State Bank of India, RBO Imphal West and Sanjenbam Silomi Devi, Managing Director, SS Solution Manipur as the guests of honour.

Along with the respective founders, one "Best Teacher" and "Best Student" each were selected from every school under PSDC and honoured with a shawl, citation and memento.

Students also presented cultural shows, including songs and dance, at the event.
