The week long Ningol Mela organized by the Apunba Kanglei Sinaibi Lup concluded today with function held at the spot this afternoon.
Goods worth around Rs.27,86,248 sale during the fair which commenced from October 23 last, according to the organizers.
The closing function was marked by the giving away of prizes to the first three stalls which could sale highest and distribution of certificates to the stall participated in the fair.
The first prizes for highest selling was given to Kanglei Sinailon Development Society, Uripok.
The society sale goods worth Rs.2,49,310 during the week long fair.
Kongpal Leithong Lairembi Co-operative Society with a sale proceed of Rs.2, 22,400 stood second while Gangbala Embroidery Unit, Haobam Marak got the third position with a sale proceed of Rs.1,38,164 .
The third position holder, Gangabala Embroidery Unit also keeps the record of selling most costly selling saree full worth from Rs 4000 to 5000 and also for selling the cheapest saree costing only Rs 100.
The fair with 60 stall was organized with an objective of preserving home produce indigenous and traditional attires of the state.
