Imphal, January 19 2009: TRANSFER AND posting of 14 IAS officers of the state government have been effected by an order of the department of personnel and administrative reforms (personnel division) issued today.

As per the order PL Thanga, chairman MANIRENDA and OSD, Manipur secretariat has been additional charge of ex-officio additional chief secretary (commerce and industries/horticulture and soil conservation and member-cum, BRVDB/EBADA.

The additional charge of secretary to chief minister from AN Jha has been taken out and now he will bear the charge of only principal secretary, finance/forest and environment.

P Sharatchandra, principal secretary higher and technical education, revenue/sericulture and ex-officio director of higher secondary education has been transferred and posted as principal secretary, relief and disaster management.

O Nabakishore who returned from training has been given the charge of commissioner agriculture.

The charge of director FCS from S Budhachandra has been taken out and now he will bear only the charge of commissioner, FCS.

The charge of commerce and industries has also been taken out from L Ibomcha retaining him as commissioner of veterinary and animal husbandry only.

The charge of commissioner of sericulture has been added to Shambu Singh commissioner education (s), election and CEO, Manipur.

Dr Suhel Akhtar commissioner of relief and disaster management has been transferred as commissioner CADA while the charge of commissioner of agciulture from Letkhogin Haokip has been taken out by retaining only the charges of commissioner, CADA, minor irrigation and social welfare.

Secretary tourism, horticulture and soil conservation B Badrinarayan Sharma has been transferred as commissioner of tourism.

Prashant Kumar Singh who returned from training has been given the charge of secretary higher and technical education, DP and AR and ex-officio secretary to CM and director higher education.

The order which will effected immediately also transferred secretary DP and AR and MAHUD S Sunderlal Singh as secretary MAHUD and revenue.

Nobert Disinang, director transport and MD (MSRTC) has been given additional charge of director FCS while ex-officio additional secretary GAD and sericulture from M Lashmikumar has been taken out and he will bear only the charge of director settlement and LR, mission director, NRHM and additional secretary sericulture.

The order further said the Prashant Kumr will also hold the charge of finance department during th leave period of AN Jha, principal secretary finance.
