Not certain when Cabinet expansion will take place, says MLA K Robindro

Imphal, February 10 2026: Despite his position as a legislator in the State Government, Mayang Imphal AC MLA K Robindro has denied having any knowledge about when Cabinet expansion and distribution of portfolios will take place.

He made the statement while responding to a media query at the inauguration of the recently constructed Namthanlong Baptist Church at Uchiwa Kabui Khul under Mayang Imphal AC.

According to the MLA, the announcement of the remaining 7 Cabinet Ministers and distribution of portfolios will come about without fail as a normal and necessary part of Government formation.

Citing the limited term of the current Government, he sought the public's support to enable the Government led by Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand to bring peace and development in the State wrecked by conflict for the last almost three years.
