Sanamahi Laining Lup observes 7th foundation day

Thoubal, October 08 2025: The 7th foundation day of Sanamahi Laining Lup, Wangjing Wangkhei, Thoubal was observed today at the residence of one Naorem Brojen at Wangjing Wangkhei.

The event was graced by Tongbram Babulal Meitei, retd Lecturer; Soibam Mangijao Meitei, Meiteilon activist and Soibam Birahari Meitei, retd Principal, YK College as the chief guest, functional president and guest of honour.

At the event, Dr N Sanatomba Meitei, Associate Professor spoke at length about Sanamahi faith as a resource person.

Naorem Brojen, secretary, Sanamahi Laining Lup, Wangjing Wangkhei said that the association was formed by followers of the Sanamahi faith with the aim of reviving Sanamahism.

He shared that the theme of this year's foundation day was "For everyone to recognize their own soul" .

As part of their efforts to revive Sanamahism, the Association has consistently sought the advice and wisdom of elders dedicated to the Sanamahi faith, said Naorem Brojen.

Today's event was attended by many followers of the Sanamahism.
