Speaking at the protest site, CI leader, L Sotinkumar said CPI does not worry of losing election.
There is high expectation of winning the election by the party nominee as this time Nara got overwhelming supports from all section of the people cutting across political different.
"We are expecting to win the election by over 20,000 votes from the nearest rival candidate who would be the sitting MP, Dr T Meinya of congress," he said.
He further justified the demand for re-poll as only to save the democracy and snatching of rights to franchise of the people which is the basis of the democracy.
Congress who ruled the country for the longest period of time has been trying to tarnish the image of democratic norms of the country when their popularity has been reduced.
People are leaving faith with the congress as they come to know that congress has no more ability to rule the country, Sotinkumar said.
General secretary of the CPI(M), Manipur state council, Sharat said that there is none to protect the life, properties, rights to franchise of the people in the state where congress had put all the security under their control.
Innocent people are killing by security forces who are here to the life of the people.
They remained like a silent spectator when congress openly looted the right to franchise of the voters.
