Thangminlen is not our cadre: UKLF

The UKLF has refuted that Thangminlen Lhungdim @ Lenin is a member of the UKLF, the outfit said reacting to the reports of Lhungdim's arrest by a combined force of Bishnupur police commandos and troops of 16 Maratha Light Infantry during a rescue operation for a kidnapped mason.
A statement of UKLF signed by its information and publicity secretary, JM Zou stated that there is no person called Thangminlen Lhungdim @ Lenin in the UKLF cadres operating in that area.
The statement declared that "the UKLF abides by the SoO ground rules not only in principle but in action too and asked the public not to come to quick conclusion of reports that seeks to malign the image of
the group" .
In the statement, JM Zou made an appeal to all UG Groups and civil organisations to condemn "degrading acts and policies of divide and rule by
certain groups" .
The statement also conveyed sincere thanks to Konsam Jayenta, SP of Bishenpur and his team with the combined force of Bishnupur district police commandos and soldiers of 16 Maratha Light Infantry, who swung into action by arresting the individuals involved in the kidnapping.
