Imphal, August 02 2009: The proscribed United National Liberation Front (UNLF), Manipur has warned the Chief Minister, O Ibobi, his ministers, MLAs and Manipur police commandos that if the revolutionaries also start attacking them in the same manner as the police commandos were doing, there will be complete chaos in Manipur making it a fratricidal battlefield.

A press release of the Central Committee, UNLF issued by Senior Publicity Officer Ksh Yoiheiba stated that the UNLF/MPA can also strike at the Chief Minister, his ministers and MLAs just like police commandos were killing innocent and unarmed persons after arresting them from home or the road.

Even if they live under the security protection of the IOF and police commandos using bullet proof armer vehicles and even if they don't go out of barracks, the UNLF/MPA can equally attack them.

They had better remember this.

Even if they are of the same blood, there is a limit of tolerance for the UNLF/MPA, the Central Committee stated.

It said that the number of fake encounters in which innocent civilians had been endlessly shot to death has become too much, in fact innumerable.

Ealier, only the IOF personnel used to kill the innocent civilians but since the very day Ibobi had become the head of the puppet government, the police commandos unleashed by him, have surpassed the IOF.

The killings of July 23 at Khwairamband market are the ultimate example of state terrorism under which the police commandos have been killing so many innocent people in fake encounters, the statement pointed out.

The statement given by the Chief Minister in the Assembly and support to him given by the MLAs without thinking and investigating the fact of the incident were the most cruel and criminal statement, the press release stated.

It shows that the leader of the killers is CM Ibobi, the UNLF asserted and added that there is no doubt that all these killings are being carried out under the instigation of the CM.

The UNLF said that CM Ibobi is the only one among all other CMs of Manipur who has the most cruel and criminal mindset and is the most immature CM.

But, now tehelka.com has exposed the incident of cold blooded and barbaric killing from begining to end with photographs as the absolute evidence.

It will not be possible for CM Ibobi and his government to suppress the truth even though they try hard to do so, the press release stated.

On the other hand, in the latest incident of fake encounter, the Thoubal police commandos in connivance with 28 AR of IOF had killed Thokchom Inao @ Herojit of Chairen Awang Leikai, presently staying at Pangaltabi Awang Leikai,on July 31 on the hilly road at Thiyam Khun, the press release stated.

The deceased however was earlier a Private of UNLF under service no.1762.His name was Thokchom Laloi @ Amitkumar, son of Nimai of Chairen Awang Leikai.

He joined the party in 2004 but had left the party in 2007 for treatment of his illness.

He had stayed back at his home and had not returned to the party since then.

The party hardly had any contact with him.

However, the combined force of 28 AR and Thoubal police commandos came in the guise of UNLF/MPA and took him away from his elder sister's house at Pangaltabi Awang Leikai on July 31 and shot him to death and deceived the public by saying that he was killed in an encounter.

This is another challenge of the IOF and police commandos to the people of Manipur, the UNLF said.

It is high time Ibobi and police commandos unleashed by him had properly thought it over, the outfit warned.
