Moirang, September 16 2025: The Peace Committee Kangleipak Manipur (PCKM), Special 50 team, today handed over roofing sheets to the residents of Phougakchao Ikhai Bazar to replace the damaged roof of the community hall at Phougakchao Ichao Bazar under Torbung Gram Panchayat.

The roof of the hall had been severely damaged due to the incessant shelling during the ethnic village that occured in the State on May 2023 .

Since then, villagers had been facing severe inconvenience in organising religious ceremonies and other community events at the site.

To address the hardship of the people, a team of Special 50 of the PCKM, led by president Kh Rajesh, along with volunteers of the committee, handed over the roofing sheets to the residents.

The PCKM reaffirmed its commitment to extend humanitarian support in the future, pledging to continue helping people across the State during times of distress.
