Confined goods to be distributed to children homes if blockade is not lifted

Imphal, September 15 2011:
Goods which have been detained and kept under the custody of women of Khwairamband market will be distributed to Children Homes if the economic blockade is not lifted within 5 days, said TH Liklaleima, president, Ima Panthoibi Sana Keithel, Temporary Market.
Speaking to media persons, Th Liklaleima said that the people have been suffering a lot due to the economic blockade enforced by the SHDDC and UNC on all NHs of the state.
At this time of juncture fully loaded goods trucks while loading goods from Thangal bazaar which was to be lifted to Kangpokpi nad Ukhrul were detained by the women of Khwairamband market and kept in their custody.
The goods have been kept well in their custody and will be given to the respective owners as soon as the blockade is lifted.
