PIB Imphal to hold one-day media workshop at Thoubal

Thoubal, February 10 2026: The Press Information Bureau (PIB), Government of India, Imphal will organise a one-day media workshop "Vartalap" on Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM G) on Wednesday at Kshetri Sanglen, Thoubal.

The workshop seeks to facilitate meaningful interactions and enhance awareness on the newly launched schemes under Viksit Bharat.

It is designed as a capacity-building initiative for media persons working across Manipur to strengthen communication channels between the Government of India and the media.

The inaugural session will be graced by Dr Engam Pame, IIS, Director PIB Imphal, and Moirangthem Priyaroshni Devi, MCS, Assistant Commissioner, Thoubal, who will serve as presidium members.

Technical seasons will feature resource persons including Leiphrakpam Ramesh Singh, Executive Engineer/State Nodal Officer, State Level Monitoring Cell, Secretariat RD & PR Department, along with senior journalist and president of the Editor's Guild Manipur.

They will deliberate on key aspects of the newly enhanced employment scheme.

Journalists participating in the programme will also have the opportunity to interact with resource persons.

About 20 media persons from Thoubal, Kakching, Chandel and Tengnoupal are expected to take part in the workshop.
