Four UGs nabbed by SF

Imphal, October 12, 2009: Atleast four militants have been apprehended, Monday by the security forces at different places of Manipur.

One cadre of Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP- Sengoi faction) was apprehended by the Thoubal police commandos from the gate of Thoubal College, stated a press release issued by the superintendent of police, Thoubal district.

He is identified as Yumnam Naocha alias Super (19 yrs), s/o Y Brajamani Singh of Sinam Leikai, Thangmeiband.

According to the press release, on verification the individual disclosed that he is an active member of KCP (Sengoi faction), stated in the press release.

Meanwhile, the Assam Rifles personnel have apprehended three militants hailing from three different organizations -- People Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak, (PREPAK) Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) and People's United Liberation Front (PULF), according to sources.
