ECI publishes draft electoral roll for Tadubi AC

The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday published the integrated draft electoral rolls of the 49-Tadubi (ST) Assembly Constituency, where a by-election is due following the demise of sitting MLA N Kayisii on January 18, 2025 .
The by-election could not be held earlier owing to the imposition of Presidents' Rule in Manipur.
Joint Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Manipur, Lokeshor Brahmacharimayum, while briefing the media at the office of CEO Manipur, Lamphelpat, said that the draft photo electoral rolls have been released as per the schedule fixed by the Election Commission of India (ECI) .
According to the draft rolls, Tadubi Assembly Constituency has a total of 48,896 electors, comprising 24, 321 male voters and 24,321 female voters, while 1,599 electors fall in the age group of 18-19 years.
The constituency has a total of 81 polling stations.
Lokeshor further stated that a meeting with representatives of national and state political parties was also held on the same day, during which copies of the draft electoral rolls were distributed to them.
Appealing to citizens, the Joint CEO urged those who have attained the age of 18 in January this year, and whose names are missing from the rolls, as well as voters who find any errors in the draft list, to submit claims and objections on or before February 25, 2026, at the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) Office using the prescribed forms or online through the official website voters.eci.gov.in.
He further informed that forms 9, 10, 11A and 11B for claims and objections are available at the CEO Manipur website, so that citizens are able to see the list and file objections.
