Imphal, December 26 2009: Led by its Minority Affairs secretary Jackie Samper, the armed PLA celebrated Christmas festival, conveyed a press release issued RPF's department of publicity chief GM Changjou.

In his address to the people on the occasion, Jackie Samper elucidated the message of love and other doctrines and teachings of lord Jesus Christ.

Recalling that Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself on Calvary cross to save mankind from their sins, Jackie Samper pointed out that Manipur belongs to all 36 ethnic groups of the State.

He also called upon all ethnic groups to work unitedly with love and strong sense of sacrifice in order to save dignity of Manipur.

Noting that a new year is round the corner, the outfit prayed that the new 2010 may bring prosperity to all 36 ethnic groups of Manipur.

It further appealed to the people of Manipur, particularly Christian community to pray to the Almighty for advancement and success of the liberation movement so that Manipur can be a peaceful society.

The Christmas celebration culminated with a prayer session for the welfare of the nation.
