Imphal, November 19:
Amid strong protest and resentment against the decision of referee that pushed Manipur out of Santosh Trophy on Thursday, All India Football Federation (AIFF) rubbished the foul cry of people of Manipur against it (AIFF) and organisers of the tournament.
AIFF general secretary Alberto Colaco who spoke over telephone from Margao, Goa office of AIFF on the development following the controversial match between Manipur and Goa said AIFF so far did not influence the organisers of any tournament held under its supervision.

On being asked how AIFF will respond to the protest and complaint lodged by All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) Colaco said an official response letter is ready and will be sent to AMFA today itself.
He declined to reveal the content of the letter.
He also declined to comment on the controversial decision of the referee Shaji C Kurien who conducted the Manipur-Goa match.
"No comment" was the only answer when sought his comment on the threat of AMFA to boycott all tournaments organised under AIFF if their demands are not considered.
