Imphal, February 21 2012: "It is my advice to the students appearing in the examination not to ease themselves of all tensions and keep their health in good condition.

Conveying best wishes to the students who are going to appear in the HLSC Examination, 2012 starting from February 24, the toppers of the HLSC Exam, 2011 have appealed to the authority concerned for ensuring regular supply of electricity for the conveniences of the students.

Following are the excerpts from an exclusive t�te-�-t�te between the toppers and our staff reporter M Karnajit.

"If the students who are going to appear in the coming HSLC Exam, 2011 keep on reading good books and have a clear concept of the lessons taught in the classes, they will certainly come out with flying colours in the exam.

"It is my advice to the students appearing in the examination not to ease themselves of all tensions and keep their health in good condition.

This will be the deciding factor of success in the exam.

"This year the HSLC Exam is set to be conducted rather earlier, which in fact very fortunate for the students.

This will be a blessing for the students if the authority concerned announces the results of the HSLC Exam in no time so that the students can get themselves enrolled in good institutes.

"The student community in Manipur has to go through a number of problems including law and order situation.

Students hardly get the required time to study their lessons in the school as the school remains closed on account of frequent bandhs, blockades and general strikes.

"The government should ensure regular power supply during the HSLC Exam, so as to help the students in preparing themselves for the exam with ease" .

"This is not the time to lament over the past faults one may have committed, but the right time to forget all the past mistakes and try out their level best in the coming HSLC Exam.

The students should at the same time proceed according to their aims and objectives" .

"HSLC Exam is the first hurdle a student has to go through in his/her career.

So, all the students preparing to appear in the exam should not get themselves involved or carried away by the daily unwanted happenings in the state, but concentrate on their studies so as to come out successful.

"Students should not get frightened of the HSLC exam, but take it like any other exams held in their own school.

This will enable them to pass in the examination in flying colours.

However, they should not stay awake the whole night studying, as this would result in complete blank-out the following morning.

So it is advisable to have at least 5 hours of good sleep" .
