Imphal, February 19: A Tata truck bearing registration number AS 25/B-3798 was set ablaze by unidentified persons today at around 8 pm at Langthabal Ningombam Mayai Leikai under Singjamei Police Statement.

It is reported that the truck fully laden with raja khaini and talab was burnt severely.

According to information received from police, the truck was hijacked by the unidentified persons from some other place and brought to Langthabal Ningombam Mayai Leikai themselves without the driver and assistant of the vehicle where it was set on fire.

Till the time filing this report, the owner of the truck could not be ascertained.
