Kohima, January 15:
Several organisations have condemned the recent killing of two Konyak Naga youths by NSCN (I-M) and urged the outfit not to identify the entire Konyak tribe as NSCN(K) activists.
Hundreds of people from Nagaland's Mon district yesterday attended the funeral service of the two youths who were abducted and shot dead at Kohima on Saturday and expressed shock over the incident.
While leders of various Konyak organisations and NSCN(K) claimed that the two victims were daily wage earners at a motor garage at Kohima, NSCN (I-M) in a statement asserted that the duo were activists of Khaplang group and were responsible for the killing of an NSCN (I-M) member in the capital town last week.
