New Delhi, Aug 02: Union Minister of State for Shipping, Road Transport and Highways KH Muniyappa, in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today stated Agartala, Aizwal, Imphal, Itanagar, Kohima and Shillong were proposed to be linked to four lane National Highway under National Highway Development Programme (NHDP) III-B and Special Accelerated Road Development ProgrammeNorth East (SARDP-NE).

The four lane connecting Aizwal, Imphal, Kohima and Shillong is to be implemented on BuildOperateTransfer (BOT) basis.

The preparation of the Detailed Project Reports and appointment of consultants are in progress, it added.
