Imphal, March 03: Naharol Sahitya Premee Samiti today observed the 107th birth anniversary of Dr Lamabam Kamal, one of the forerunners who shape the modern Manipuri literature.

The observance function held at Hotel Excellency was attended by president of the Cultural Forum, Manipur Prof Naorem Khagendra as chief guest and former vice president of the Samiti Prof P Nabakumar Singh as president.

All those who are present at the occasion offered floral tributes to the photograph of Dr Kamal.
