Imphal, December 22: The Zeliangrong Union (Assam, Manipur and Nagaland) and Zeliangrong Youth Front (ZYF) has conveyed their heartiest greetings ahead of Merry Christmas to all the people.

A joint statement issued by ZU and ZYF conveyed wish that this joyous Christmas bring peace, prosperity and new life in the States.

They also appealed to all the communities, groups or individual to shun violence.

Likewise, the All Manipur Students' Union has also extended best wishes to all the people of Manipur.

It prayed that this festival may herald peace and harmony among all the ethnic groups of the State.

A statement issued by AMSU Hqs further informed that it has opened a price control cell to check prices of commodities and articles ahead of the Chrismas.

The student body also warned all shopkeepers not sell things above the normal prices.

It further appealed to all the customers to inform the price control cell through telephone no 9863243394 if they have any suspicion that they have been deceived by shopkeepers.
