Imphal, May 22: As part of the 24th International AIDS Candle Light Memorial Day campaign being organised jointly by Constella Futures, SASO, Lifeline Foundation, Kripa Society, Care Foundation, MNP + and MACS since May 19 under the theme of 'Candle Light Memorial for Positive Activism', a mass public rally was taken out on the streets of Imphal today.

The rally was flagged off from near Imphal Hotel, North AOC at around 4 pm by Deputy Director of MACS Dr S Manihar.

The rally passed through Minuthong, Hatta Golapati, New Checkon, Palace Compound and converged at BOAT where a rock concert was organised to highlight the problems being faced by people living with HIV/AIDS in the society.

Delegates from Mizoram, Sikkim, Nagaland and Meghalaya also participated in the rally.
