The Zomi Human Rights Foundation (ZHRF) is all set to host an environmental rights awareness campaign in collaboration with Committee Against Tipaimukh Dam (CATD) on Saturday at PTC conference Hall here.
Environmentalist Leo Saldanha, Environmental Study Group Bangalore and Debabrata Roy Laifungbam, Director, Centre for Organisation Research & Education will present seminary papers during the campaign designated as 'Indigenous Peoples'and Environmental Rights.' A handout of the foundation also claims the involvement of reknown public figures Dr John Pulamte, Joseph R Hmar, Paul Leo, UNC,, Grace Shatshang, NWUM, Dr Gina Shangkham, former President, NWUM and Valley Rose Hungyo, Editor Aja during the seminar.
