Imphal, August 21: Three PULF (Azad) cadres have been apprehended by troops of 32 AR of 9 Sector from Lilong Turel Ahanbi area during an operation today, informed an AR PRO release.

The PULF cadres have been identified as Waris Ahmed (34) s/o Nasib Ali, Zakirya alias Zakir (22) s/o Idrish Ali and Sanaya alias Atwar Rahman (22) s/o late Md Sattulla alias Abohan, all belonging to Mayai Leikai, it added.

Another release informed that one PLA cadre identified as Premanand alias Loya (28) s/o late Chandramani of Khurai was apprehended by troops of 39 AR from his locality yesterday.

He has been handed over to Lamlai police station.

In another incident, troops of 20 AR pulled up one PULF cadre from Khunbi.

Further acting on his disclosure, another PULF cadre was also apprehended.

The two PULF cadres have been identified as S/S Cpl Ethmoba Umaibi (28) s/o Kayamuddin of Sora and S/S Col Samsel Haq alias Dilip Khan (26) s/o NB Yaima Khan of Sora.

Along with one 9 mm pistol with a magazine and five live rounds.

Both of them have been handed over to Kakching police station, added the release.
