JAC warns of agitation if bail given to Rojer murder accusers

Imphal, May 14 2011: If the alleged killers of Irom Rojer happen to be bail out they will be compelled to take harsh decision, the JAC Against the Killing of Irom Rozer Singh warns, alleging that IFCD minister, N Biren is trying to obtain for his son ad other accuses of the case.

Referring to the reports appeared to a newspaper published in Imphal, the JAC, in a strong worded statement signed by its convenor A Boby Singh, alleged that the efforts to shift N Ajay, the main accused in the Rojer murder case, was a part of his father's game plan to secure bail for his son.

This indicates that minister Biren will not leave any stone unturned to cover up the truth, the JAC feels.

The CJM court, after rejected the bail prayer, has ordered to examine the medical report of Ajay to a medical board after hearing an application seeking bail for the accused person.

In this regard, the JAC would like to draw the attention of the members of the medical board to be fair enough so that justice can be delivered to the family of the victim youth.

If the board members and other authorities of the government come in the way of delivering justice in the case, the JAC will not remained silent.

If they think JAC will able to do nothing, then, it should not be forgotten that there are many groups of people who can deliver justice in the case.

The JAC is wondered why minister Biren is efforting to obtain bail for his son when the parents and family of the victim Rojer are yet to relieve from the pain and shock when their son got killed.

At this juncture, JAC hopes that Biren will remain silent waiting for court as a public leader.

If not JAC will be compelled to teach a lesson, the statement warns.

Further if any misfortune befalls to the witnesses including the family of the victim, the JAC will not remain silent and any untoward incident arising out of it will be the sole responsibility of minister Biren, the JAC warned.

If the chief minister is not acted against the wishes of the people and draws attention of the authorities in delivering justice in the case, it will be a headache for him when the JAC rise up with the support of the people, the statement warned.
