In order to eradicate stigma and discrimation attached with HIV/AIDS patients, Emmanuel Hospital Association (EHA) Ukhrul Team is organising a three-day "Khare Gospel Camp'' under the theme of "I AIDS kala Mirin " (me AIDS and life) at VVD Training centre, Ukhrul since December 8.Over 45 HIV/AIDS patients are attending the camp being held with the main objective of focussing on the problems being faced by the HIV/AIDS infected/affected people and to mitigate the stigma and discrimation attached to them by spread awareness among the people.
Rev Mayarping Khamrang, Dr Nelson Vashum, Ms Philazan Shangh, Ms Viku Kengoo, Mr Ninghor K Shimray and Project Orchid / Futures groups from Imphal are the main speakers for the scheduled three days camp with the Topic: Unveiling Hope.
Physical Health care, Building self esteem, Mental & spiritual care (Biblical Perspective), Insideout and Advocacy, exploring Human Rights issue related to PLWHAs.
