Imphal, August 07: Attended by representatives of various social organisations, the third foundation day of Kaku Mothers' Association (KAMA) was observed at Majorkhul Community Hall today.

MLA Okram Landhoni Devi and KAMA president Kakomlunglu Kamei were chief guest and functional president of the foundation day.

Kanglamei president Y Leirik Leima, Nupi Samaj president K Taruni, MEEKHOL president AK Janaki Leima, AcomLup Kangleipak founder S Subadani, AMKIL president Shakhi Leima, MPCC (I) chairperson RK Bidita, International Mothers' Association president Khuman Leima and Khwairamband Keithel Nupi Marup president Ibeni were also present at the occasion as guests of honour.

All those who spoke at the occasion emphasised on the need to ensure the rights of the people, safe the youth from drug abuse, improve the financial condition of the State and its people and thw women to play a major role in promotion of peace and unity among the people of Manipur.
