Imphal, Aug 06: With the objective of making the youths aware of armed forces and various career options available to them Headquarters 59 Mountain Brigade conducted a motivational lecture at Samaritan Public School, Senapati yesterday, informed PIB (DW).

The lecture on 'Army as a career' was attended by maximum students of the school whose understanding of the lecture was made easier through screening of movie on selection procedure of various entries to the Army, training of officer cadets, pay, perks and lifestyles which the armed forces offer.

The programme also assisted by Lady Army officers generated tremendous enthusiasm among the girl participants who were also briefed on subjects related to hygiene and health care, the PIB added.
