Imphal, Aug 01: Raising serious doubt against the Government of Manipur including the Chief Secretary over their failure to entertain their proposal for a transparent discussion as to who would be the genuine implementing agency of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) scheme, the Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) asserted that the negligence on the part of the State Government has been delaying proper implementation of such central projects in the State.

A statement issued by MSF urged the State Government and the Chief Secretary to come out with a concrete decision on this protracted dispute concerning whether SCERT (A) or Education Dept would be the authentic implementing agency of SSA/Mid-day Meal schemes.

Appealing to the State Government to decide the matter by August 10, MSF cautioned that the issue would be taken to the public for immediate solution if the State Government fails to resolve the dispute by August 10. It further warned that the State Government would be held responsible for any consequence thereof.
