Imphal, December 28: In line with the customary rites, the village chief throne ceremony of Ph Shingba, chief of Chinikon village was held at the chief's residence today with pomp and show.

A press release issued by the Chini-Ingkhol Village Authority, Senapati district informed that the ceremony was attended by many Khullapkas and Khunbus of both the hills and valley, well wishers and also intellectuals and resource persons of Zeliangrong tribe like Prof Gangmumei Kamei, founder of TRC (Tingkao Ragwang Chapriak) .
