Imphal, May 26: The five days long Children Film Festival came to an end today at GM hall today admist various cultural programmes presented by young children.

The concluding ceremony was attended by Best Child Artist awardees of 1972 and 2000-01 Lakhendra and Brajakanta as chief guest and president respectively while National Balsree awardee G Deepika was the guest of honour.

During the film festival, a workshop on children films was also held for which the participating children were given a certificate each.

It is reported that the Children Film Festival organised by Children Film Society of India and Manipur Film Development Corporation may be organised in other districts of Manipur.

What was striking of the fun-filled closing ceremony was that the event was conducted by Y Princy , a class V student of Little Flower School and Reshmi another class V student of Maria Montessori High School.

The various cultural items presented by children added glitter and gaiety to the ceremony.
