Imphal, May 22: Acting to news report of Imphal West district police commandos arresting one Sagolsem Momon alias Angou alias Ibomcha alias Yambung on May 20, the underground KCP has clarified that the said individual has no relationship with the organisation.

Slapping Momon with the 'thief' tag and contending that the 50 year old has already been disciplined by armed outfits for his indulgence in extortion and intimidating civilians using names of revolutionary groups, a statement issued by KCP's information and publicity secretary affirmed Momon would be given appropriate punishment.

KCP further cautioned the general public to be on the alert to foil activities of such truant elements.

It may be recalled that Momon was apprehended by the police commandos from Narankonjing on charges of abducting an Assistant Engineer of the IFCD.

Momon s/o Manao actually hails from Nongada Makha Leikai but was staying at Langthabal Awang Kunja.
