Imphal, March 20 2010: Claiming that it has been strictly adhering to international laws, norms and conventions, proscribed RPF/PLA has justified its armed movement.

A statement issued by the outfit's Department of Publicity chief GM Changjou, while iterating that the PLA has never given any consent to recruit child soldiers, said that there is an interesting story behind how comrade Nongleiba and comrade Jack conditionally joined the PLA, how the PLA was compelled to recruit them and how general education was given to them.

Comrade Nongleiba and comrade Jack were killed in a battle with security forces at Tolen and Warok Ching of Chandel district.

They joined the PLA when they were quite young.

The education department of the PLA took the responsibility of providing them general education till they attained the age of 16.After they attained the right age Nongleiba and Jack passed out of the Basic Military Training (BMT), the requirement to become a regular army of the PLA.

Reacting to the CRPF IG (Nagaland and Manipur Sector) RC Tayal's assertion that the problem of insurgency has slackened the pace of development in Manipur and made common people suffer unnecessarily, the outfit remarked that the statement is highly debatable.

There is no denying that Manipur was an independent state in South East Asia.

A developed and prosperous state is possible only when a free people of an independent nation elect their true representatives for forming a government that is not under any one's control.

Only an independent government formed by a free people could know aspirations of the people and make policies and programmes that are suited to the soil of the land, it asserted.

Alleging that Manipur was forcibly merged by India, the RPF claimed that fissures are developing within India because of this alleged forcible merger of many smaller princely states by Mountbatton at the instance of MK Gandhi, Nehru and Sardar Patel.

The policy of ignoring the territorial boundaries of the alleged forcibly merged princely states and introduction of Article 3 in the Indian Constitution added more fuel to the fire.

Recalling that Nehru gifted away Manipur's Kyampok Lamjao (Kabo Valley), which is three times larger than the present Manipur valley to Myanmar without fighting any war, the outfit questioned if the people of Manipur can repose faith in such Indian leaders. Even today Manipur's land is shrinking including those bordering Myanmar, the outfit observed.

Because, the British had never wanted India to became a communist country.

On the other hand they crushed leftist movements led by Bhagat Singh, Bal Gangadhar Tilak etc.

using all available military might.

As India's freedom struggle was not spearheaded by the working class, the people living in this country are yet to gain their freedom even today.

The poor and working class of this country have not been able to enjoy their political rights fully.

Crores of homeless Indians are living by the roadsides as they are denied basic human rights like shelter, food and clothing, asserted the outfit while asking if these people are not citizens of India.

To ameliorate the pitiable condition of the poor and homeless CPI (Maoist) has emerged as a strong force to fight for the just cause of liberation of the poor, farmers and the working class people of India.

Declaring that the RPF fully supports the CPI (Maoist)'s movement and vice versa, and that both the parties recognise each other's political aspirations, the outfit went on to say that it supports all liberation struggles of the world.

Exuding that CPI (Maoist) and the RPF can jointly defeat Indian regime, it asserted that only then, the two countries �� independent Manipur and independent India, can establish a good relationship based on trust, faith and mutual support.
