Imphal, November 17:
Under the sponsorship of National Fisheries Development Board, Hyderabad, a 10-day training programme on Integrated Fish farming system has begun from today at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Utlou in Bishnupur district.
Altogether 30 trainees from different villages of Bishnupur district are participating in the training programme.
Resource persons from different departments/organisations will be giving lectures on different aspects of the topic.
Meanwhile, the training programme conducted by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, An-dro under the supervision of Central Agriculture University, Iroisemba since November 15 concluded today.
The main objective of the training programme was to encourage self employment among the educated youths.
In all 20 trainees from different villages of Imphal East like Khundrakpam, Takhel, Naharup, Andro, etc participated in the training programme conducted with Subject Matter Specialist of the Kendra Th Robindro Singh as resource person.
