Imphal, June 14: A youth was shot at head by suspected PULF cadres at Kyamgei Muslim Kalampalli under Irilbung police station at about 9.30 pm yesterday.

The injured victim is identified as one Md Sahid of Lilong Hangam Thabi.

He was hit by a bullet in the head and is currently undergoing treatment at Shija Hospital in a critical condition.

Meanwhile the corpse of Md Tamijur Rehman alias Bishma (40), shot dead at Takhel bus parking under Lamlai police station on June 12, was claimed by the family after post mortem today.

On the other hand, the corpse of Kh Mani alias Maipak of Tera Lukram Leirak found dead at Sangaiprou under Lamphel yesterday night was also taken by family members without post mortem examination RIMS today.
