Imphal, May 04:
During zero hour of the State Assembly session today, MLA Y Irabot has questioned the reasons behind deduction of SK Oil quota for the month of May allotted to MLAs by 50 percent.
Taking strong exception to the failure of the State Government to provide the allotted quantity of kerosene oil, Irabot asked whether the State Government is being ruled by diktats of UG groups.
He has been threatened through phone for not sharing his kerosene quota with a UG group, Irabot disclosed.
Saying that his kerosene quota was also deducted by 53 percent, MLA Kunjakishore sought the attention of the Minister concerned to clarify the matter after verification with the officials concerned.
However, MLA Th Shyamkumar maintained that after an investigation it was learnt that SK Oil quota for MLAs was not deducted by UG groups but by officials of the Department.
MLA Morung Makunga complained that even if other MLAs get some quantity of SK oil he does not get a single litre.
