Imphal, Jun 19: Grateful with the support and active participation of the people, the United Committee Manipur has thanked all concerned for making the 5th June Great Uprising observation a grand success.

A statement issued by UCM categorically extended its gratitude to all the leaders of different communities and ethnic groups who attended the observance as presidium members and to the families and relatives of June 18 martyrs.

It also thanked the Huyel Lalong ThangTa Association Irilbung, Northern Thang-Ta Association Tangkham, Yumnam Huidrom Thang-Ta Association, Huyel Lalong Keishamthong, Nongshaba Huyel Lalong Heikrujam, Northern Band Party Bamon Leikai, Kom Cultural Group Sagang, NG Cultural Academy Kongba, singers of Ima Pukkei group, singers of Surti Sangam, transport organisations, PHED, IMC, RIMS Blood Donation Unit, medical staff, security personnel, volunteers, scouts, guides, donors, dignitaries and others for their invaluable parts in the observance.

Likewise the United Clubs' Organisation of Bishnupur District (UCOBID) has extended its sincere gratitude to all the community leaders, Meira Paibi representatives, local clubs, NGOs, dignitaries, social workers and all the persons who came from Churachandpur district to pay their homage to the departed heroes during Unity Day observance at Bishnupur community hall, conveyed UCOBID in a press release.

It further conveyed that UCOBID and Meira Paibi Apunba Lup (MPAL) are grateful to the media persons and transporters for making the observance a grand success.
