Imphal, June 14: GOC 3 Corps Lt Gen MS Dadwal, AVSM, VSM visited Imphal and Leimakhong today.

At Imphal, he called on Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh and discussed the situation in the State including the security situation prevailing at Moreh.

Later, he visited Leimakhong where he was briefed by Maj Gen EJ Kochekkan, SM, VSM; Maj Gen BK Chengapa and Maj Gen KS Sethi, GOC Red Shield Division, IGAR (S) and IGAR (N) respectively.

He also presided over a formation commanders conference where the detailed security situation prevailing in the States of Agartala, Mizoram, South Assam, Manipur and Nagaland was discussed.
