Imphal, August 13: Informing that the recent killings of 12 KLA cadres including two senior leaders were due to faulty administration problem, the KLO/KLA disclosed that both Letkholun alias Lenin and Thunder Kuki were regretfully killed by the Internal Affairs Task Force under its re-organisation process.

A statement issued by Information and Publicity secretary of KLA/KLO Armstrong Kuki claimed that the overall administration of the outfit has been fully reformed under the leadership of Goulen alias Stephen Kuki appointed as C-in-C and Khaikam alias TK Kuki as Dy C-in-C.Saying that there was no KLA leader named Thunder Doungel or Addi Kuki, although there was Thunder Touthang alias Thunder Kuki who was killed recently together with Letkholun, the outfit rejected the claim made by one Addi Kuki that Timothy Kuki was appointed Dy C-in-C as totally false, while adding that Timothy Kuki was expelled from the outfit along with Arjun Kuki on June 11 this year.

The recent bloodshed and false propaganda were started by some factional gangs with the full support of the KRA and a local political leader under diktats of the NSCN (IM) to disintegrate the socio-cultural unity of the State, asserted the outfit.

Maintaining that there is no cadre named Goulen Doungel alias Armstrong Kuki in KLO/KLA, the outfit denied any connection whatsoever with any ex-MLA or village chiefs.

Alleging that Kingson was murdered by some gangsters who claimed themselves as KLA cadres in collaboration with KRA and local villagers, the outfit warned all the impostors and gangsters to give in by August 15 failing which no further amnesty will be extended.
